To find the surface area of a triangular prism, find the area of each of the faces, then add it all
up. The formula is bh+(b+w1+w2)l. For example, the triangular prism to the right has a surface area of 672 units squared.

Volume
To find the volume of a triangular prism, multply the length, the width, and the height, then divide by 2.
The formula is lwh/2. You can see that's true in the triangle to the right; it is just half of a rectangular prism, which is what the formula shows.
For example, a triangular prism with a length of 4, a height of 3, and a width of 2 has a volume of 12 units cubed.
